It is an exciting time for the City’s Public Works Department. The Department has experienced award winning success in 2020/2021 with the completion of the City’s new Crown Valley Community Center Project. The Department is on schedule to complete a full spectrum of existing capital improvement projects and is prepared to engage in 15 additional projects in the coming fiscal year. The City’s onsite team of professionals is complimented by the use of contract consultants that assist with completing the objectives set forth in the City’s adopted Strategic Plan. The Contracts Administrator will play a key leadership role in several areas, including contract management, departmental reporting, procurement and budgeting, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, thrive in a collaborative and fast paced environment, and be motivated to meet established goals, initiatives, and deadlines. Additionally, the City is seeking an experienced professional with strong analytical, interpersonal and customer service skills.
