Maintenance Worker, Full-time – Public Works Department

Responsible for building and fleet maintenance at City Hall and other City owned buildings and facilities, and perform a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties in the maintenance and repair of City buildings and building grounds.

Duties include:  Monitor janitorial contact and prepare punch lists; inspect facilities for cleanliness. Set up and break down tables, chairs, etc. for community room rentals and meetings.  Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs. Oversee fleet maintenance activities.  Make minor repairs to plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, faucets and pipes; clear obstructions from plumbing lines; replenish bathroom supplies.  Make minor repairs to walls, partitions, doorways, and windows including patching and painting.
